The symbol of our brand — the embroidered ‘Howdy Knot’ on every can — represents the firm partnerships we've forged with farmers, producers, and artists. Created in collaboration with our Japanese designer, the knot mirrors two iconic cultural tools: the Lasso used in the Southern Regions here in the U.S. and the Kumihimo (traditional braided cords) used in Japan for centuries. Seeing these two ropes tied tightly together symbolizes the bond between our two cultures.
